How do I report a bug?

Bugs are reported in the bugs-feature-request channel on Discord.

If you’ve found a bug or technical issue in AI Dungeon, first search through the posts for one(s) similar and add a comment to those if they exist.

If there aren’t any posts matching your problem, please follow these instructions:

Always try to reproduce the bug again across different platforms and devices. It would be a huge help to the team if you tried replicating the bug in separate play sessions and different stories as well.
Next, take screen recordings as often as possible. These are very helpful to our developers as they diagnose issues.
Then, write up your detailed report. Include those screen recordings and lots of specific information that we can use to reproduce the bug ourselves. Also include information about the devices and/or platforms that are experiencing the issue. When applicable, please attach a link to the story you are testing in. This will help our testing be consistent with yours.
Lastly, tag your report on Discord with all relevant labels. Please always include an UNCONFIRMED Status Tag on your bug reports moving forward, thank you!
