Every AI Dungeon subscriber is granted a bundle of Credits each month of their membership, but all players can buy additional Credits at any time.
Credits can be spent in AI Dungeon Adventures creating new, one-of-a-kind, AI-generated images to compliment stories, or to get more temporary context on certain models.
Credits for Images
Your membership tier determines how many Credits each image costs across different models. Check out the pricing on this page, by expanding the âImage Generatorsâ section on the tier you want to look at.
Creating AI-generated art on our best quality models might require several Credits, as these options can get particularly expensive to run, but provide extremely high-quality results.
Some models do NOT require Credits for certain tier, as the price to run them is offset by the amount you pay every month.
Hint: Sending a blank âSeeâ action will generate an image based on your recent actions, story cards, and plot essentials.
Credits for Context
On certain models, we offer players the ability to increase the base context temporarily by using credits. Depending on the model and how much context you are using, every action you take while using credit-extended context will cost credits, even retries.
Check out the pricing on this pageâif a model says âup toâ, then that means you can spend credits to reach that limit. You can also check by switching to a model, and checking to see if a popup occurs underneath it, telling you that you can enjoy more context with credits.
Example: If a model says âUp to 32.0k tokens for 1 credit per 2000 tokens used beyond 4000 every turnâ, that means that when youâre playing at 4000 context, you wonât have to spend any credits. If youâd like to go up to 6000 context, then youâll spend 1 credit every time you take an action, hit continue, or retry. At 8000, youâll spend 2 credits, and so on. You can go all they way up to 32000 tokens, for a total of 14 credits every action!
