Tala Discord Bot Privacy Notice

This notice describes how Latitude, Inc. ("Company", "we", "us") collects and uses information through Tala, a bot we operate on our Discord server. It supplements our Privacy Policy, which continues to apply. Your use of Discord is governed by Discord's own privacy policy.

Updating This Notice

We may update this notice from time to time. If we make changes that are material, we will use reasonable efforts to attempt to provide notice to you. Any updated version takes effect when posted.

Tala's Collection and Use of Information

When you post in a public channel on our Discord server, Tala collects the content of your message, your Discord username and user ID, and the channel and time it was posted. Tala does not collect direct messages.

We use the information Tala collects to identify and resolve defects in our products, to understand what our players want from them, and to keep our community safe.

How Tala Shares Your Information

We use subprocessors to operate our services, including cloud hosting, data storage, and issue tracking. Subprocessors may process the information Tala collects only on our instructions and only for the purposes we specify, and are bound by contractual obligations to protect it.

We do not sell your information, and we do not use it to train AI models.

Data Retention

Discord data is not stored beyond 30 days. Anonymized and transformed or summarized data derived from Discord conversations, including but not limited to bug reports, feature requests, and safety reports, may be retained beyond the 30-day window.

Your Choices

You can ask us to remove your personal data at any time by emailing support@aidungeon.com with your Discord username.

Where a report has already been copied to our issue tracker, tell us and we will address it separately.

Data Security

We take reasonable measures to protect the information Tala collects, including encryption in transit and at rest. Despite our best efforts, no security measures are perfect or impenetrable, and we cannot guarantee "perfect security."
