Voyage in ChatGPT Privacy Policy

About this policy

Latitude, Inc. operates Voyage in ChatGPT. This policy explains how Latitude handles information when you explore worlds, create a character, play adventures or worlds, or use Voyage Studio through our ChatGPT integration.

OpenAI operates ChatGPT separately. Its handling of your ChatGPT account, conversation history and other information is described in OpenAI’s Privacy Policy. Using Voyage in ChatGPT does not give Latitude automatic access to your ChatGPT account email or your entire chat history.

Information sent from OpenAI

When you use Voyage through the OpenAI plugin, we receive the requests and context that ChatGPT sends to Voyage, along with the information you enter in the Voyage widget. This may include searches, character choices, gameplay actions, worldbuilding prompts, and edits.

Signing in to ChatGPT does not, by itself, connect a Voyage account.

You can disconnect Voyage through ChatGPT’s connected-app settings. Revoking an authorization prevents that connection from continuing to access your Voyage account. Disconnecting does not itself delete your Voyage account, adventures, Studio drafts, or copies of information already stored in your ChatGPT conversation.

Information received from Latitude

When you use Voyage through the OpenAI plugin, we return relevant results to OpenAI so ChatGPT can display and use them in your conversation. This may include requested story content, character information, game state, and Studio results.

You can choose whether to connect a Voyage account, decline optional activity analytics, or revoke the account connection. You can change the optional analytics choice for Voyage when reconnecting. OpenAI handles information under its privacy policy and your applicable ChatGPT settings. Latitude handles information it receives under this notice and the Latitude Privacy Policy.

To request access, correction, or deletion of information Latitude holds about you, contact support@latitude.io and identify the request as relating to Voyage in ChatGPT. We may need to verify your identity. Requests concerning information held by OpenAI should be directed to OpenAI.
