What is Private, Unlisted, and Published Content?

What’s the difference between Published, Unlisted, and Private Visibility?

Published content is public and available for anyone online to see, read, or play. These are subject to moderation as per our Community Guidelines.

Unlisted content is public only to those who have access to the share link of your adventure. It will not show up in discovery or any kind of search.

Private content (the default setting) is only available to the player who created it. They are encrypted on the server, and even Latitude staff cannot see them.

  • While no human beings will read your unpublished content, the AI is still set with a filter that stops extremist content, regardless of whether or not the Adventure is published.

How do I publish content?

To publish your content, you must ensure that the content meets our Community Guidelines. Private content is not subject to them, but when you make something public, you thereby agree to follow these guidelines.

Before being published, your content must first be run through our rating checker. An AI will read and appropriately rate it on a scale of Everyone, Teen, Mature, and Unrated, depending on how appropriate it is to certain ages.

Once your content has been rated, it is free to publish!

Even though an AI will be rating your material no matter what, it’s still important to have a good grasp on the Community Guidelines before you publish. AI can make mistakes, but humans will always have a better sense of what is right and what is wrong.
